Arizona is in the Mountain Time Zone in the United States, which is 7 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Unlike most states in the U.S., Daylight-Saving Time is not observed in most of Arizona. The exception to this is in the Navajo Nation Community of Arizona, which observes Daylight-Saving Time, where the time is shifted forward by 1 hour, resulting in a 6 hours difference behind GMT.

After the Summer months the time is shifted back by 1 hour resulting in the normal 7 hours difference behind GMT.

Daylight Saving Time ends on 11/2/2008 2:00:00 AM local daylight time.
