The Southern part of Idaho (except Panhandle and Clearwater Regions) fall in the Mountain Time Zone, which is 7 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), while the Northern part of Idaho (Panhandle and Clearwater Regions) fall in the Pacific Time Zone, which is 8 hours behind GMT.

Like most states in the U.S., Daylight Saving Time is observed in Idaho, the time is shifted forward by 1 hour, resulting in a 6 hours and 7 hours difference behind GMT for the Southern and Northern part of Idaho respectively.

After the Summer months, the time is shifted back by 1 hour resulting in the normal time difference behind GMT.
