Pacific Standard Time (PST) is 8 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-8).

Like most states in the U.S., Daylight-Saving Time is observed in the PST, where the time is shifted forward by 1 hour to PDT; which is 7 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-7).

After the Summer months the time is shifted back by 1 hour to Pacific Standard Time (PST) or (GMT-8).
